Problems or Complaints

Our aim is to give the highest possible standard of service and we try to deal directly with any problems that may occur. If you do have a complaint we have a formal procedure which can be found be found here.

Medical Records

The practice is often asked for information about patients from insurance companies or solicitors. On no account will any information be given without the patient's written consent. Information about a patient's medical condition will only be passed to other health professionals to help with treatment. Staff at the surgery have access to personal information on a need-to-know basis only and are bound by rules relating to patient confidentiality.

GP Earnings

Disclaimer: NHS england require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised and the required disclose is shown below. However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading becaused it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

All GP practice are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in the Carlton Group Practice in the last financial year was £86,322 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 3.08 full time GPs, 1.92 part time GPs and 1.75 locum GPs (adjusted for the timing of GP changes) who worked in the practice for more than six months.
