We are a group of four experienced General Practitioners, part of the Primary Health Care Team who provide a high standard of friendly medical care. We work closely together and have no restriction on which of us you prefer to see; however it is best for all if you stick to your usual doctor whenever possible, and follow through an illness with the same doctor.

Our aim is to give the highest possible standard of service and we try to deal directly with any problems that may occur. We are happy to receive comments or suggestions that would help improve our service. Please contact us via our online comments form or using the suggestions box in the waiting area.

Our surgery building was purpose designed and opened in 1992. The surgery has been designed with the disabled in mind. There is a ramp access and all the rooms are at ground level. One of the toilets is specifically for use by disabled persons, and also has a baby changing facility within.

Practice Manager: Mrs Julie Pickering is our Practice Manager and she is there to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice. This gives the doctors the maximum amount of time to care for you, the patient.

Nursing: Sister J. Campling R.G.N. is Clinical Manager along with Sister L. Evans R.G.N. and Sister L. Topliss R.G.N. They are available at the surgery most of the day and have their own appointment times, offices and fully equipped treatment room. Typical matters dealt with are child and adult immunisation, cervical smears, family planning, lung function tests, electrocardiography and ear syringing. They are also good listeners and providers of sensible advice.

Reception & Administration: The practice employs helpful, pleasant reception and secretarial staff who will be pleased to answer any general queries you may have but are not able to deal with queries of a clinical nature.

Specialist Clinics: These are held by Practice Nurses and the doctors and include: Asthma, Diabetes, Well Person, Smoking Cessation, Diet and other clinics.

Designated Yellow Fever Centre: We provide a complete service for all your travel needs.

Community Nursing: Attached to the practice are full district nurse, health visitor, midwifery, and mental health nursing services.

Vasectomy: We are the only surgery in Burton to offer a   vasectomy operation "in house".

Other Services: Apart from providing full medical services, the doctors and nurses are happy to provide maternity care, contraceptive and minor surgical services.

Non-NHS Services: There may be times when you require the services of your doctor for matters unrelated to the NHS; we will be happy to help. There will be a professional fee in line with that suggested by the British Medical Association.
